Privacy

LexiRush is a word game in beta. This page says what it stores about you, why, and how to delete it. Last updated 6 October 2026.

The short version

  • No ads, no ad trackers, and your data is not sold or shared for marketing.
  • The game keeps your progress, and a record of how you play, so it can teach you and so it can be improved.
  • You can delete everything in Settings, Your data.

What is stored

On your device.Your progress is saved in your browser's storage: the words you have met and how well you know them, scores, coins, what you have unlocked, your settings, the name you gave your runner and any memory hooks or word lists you wrote. A short queue of play events waits there until it is sent.

An account. The first time you play, LexiRush creates an account for you with no name or email, only a random id, so your progress has somewhere to live. If you choose to save your progress with Google or email, the account also holds your email address and, with Google, the name and picture Google passes along.

A copy of your progress. The same progress as on your device is copied to that account, so it can follow you to another device.

How you play. Visits and sessions (when they start and how long they last), runs (score, length, how they ended), each word gate (which word, right or wrong, how long you took) and what you get in the in-game shop. These are stored under your account id.

LexiRush does not ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone, and takes no payments.

Why

To run the game and remember your progress (you asked for that by playing), to bring words back at the right time, and to see where players get stuck so the game can be improved (a legitimate interest in making it work well). Nothing is used for advertising or profiling beyond the game itself.

Who handles it

  • Google Firebase holds the accounts, the copy of your progress and the play events.
  • Vercel hosts the site and, like any web host, sees your IP address and browser type when pages load.
  • Voices. When a sentence is read aloud, its text (never your name or id) is sent through our server to a Google speech service to make the audio.

These companies may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Only the person running LexiRush can see the play records, in a private dashboard.

How long

Until you delete it. If you clear your browser data without saving to Google or email, the account can no longer be reached, and its copy stays until it is removed on request or by a clean-up of unused accounts.

Your choices

  • Delete everything: Settings, Your data, Delete my account and data. This removes the account, the copy of your progress and your play records, and clears this device.
  • Start over but keep the account: Settings, Danger zone, Reset all progress.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for a correction, or object to how it is used. In Europe you can also complain to your data protection authority.
  • If you are younger than the age at which your country asks for a parent's consent online (13 to 16 in Europe), ask a parent before you play.

Contact

LexiRush is in a closed beta. For any question or request about your data, write to the person who invited you. A public contact address will be listed here before the game opens to everyone.
